Acerca del libro
Women used to symbolise the exertion of power through burning their bras, to no advantage for the contemporary woman. She has now burnt her bra in exchange for the Wonderbra – the ultimate enhancement to sexual power. With the rise of celebrity porn stars and glamour models, women have chosen their new following: Stripper Culture. No woman pickets against Playboy any more; the contemporary ambition is to appear on the front cover. Inspired by the recent release of a horror film called Zombie Strippers (2008), starring celebrity porn star Jenna Jameson, this work criticises the contemporary obsession with Stripper Culture.

Acerca del creador
My passion for photomontaging has grown throughout my four-year degree at Edinburgh Napier University. I create highly cinematic imagery through this process to play with notions of reality and fiction. The horror genre acts as a tool through which I can explore themes of social unrest, whilst maintaining a somewhat light-hearted accessibility to my work. My degree show project, Stripped to Death, displays the most recent example of my ever progressing portfolio that utilises these notions.
