The authors took a 12 day journey with Aurora Expeditions and took stunning photographs to illustrate an extensive diary of their adventures. The book also includes some background on the wildlife biology of the species encountered, from Polar Bears to Arctic foxes, walruses and puffins

Gary does several casual jobs in environmental education and is an environmental activist with National Parks association of NSW. He is a keen Canon photographer. Bronlyn has joined Gary on two of three Antarctic voyages, and currently has a part time educational consultancy in between many "controlled adventure" type holidays. Antarctica is a passion for both, and both Gary and Bronlyn feel priveleged to have visited the white continent.
