This series of pictures were taken within the span of a few weeks and does not show the entirety of the diverse culture and nature in Norway. However it is a reflection of my memories, from my summer trips back home filled with fresh seafood, bright late nights and the sense of idyll. ‘Idyll’ is a word often used in Norwegian to describe the feeling you get while being in an ideal and harmonic moment or place. We also have a saying that goes: “being away is great, but being home is best.” something I am immediately reminded of every time I go back.
