This book documents a fantastic safari to Kenya that my dad and I took in August '08. We visited three parks- Amboseli, Masai Mara, and Lewa Downs. All three were full of wonderful surprises. In Amboseli we watched a herd of 30 elephants silently cross the road right in front of us. In the Masai Mara, we witnessed three different, dramatic river crossings where thousands of wildebeests tried to cross the Mara River without getting trampled or eaten by crocodiles. In Lewa Conservancy we followed three cheetahs as they went about their day, and petted a pair of orphaned baby rhinos. It was a truly special trip and I hope this book will give readers a glimpse of all the amazing things we saw.



This second edition (the first was a gift for my dad) has been improved with the addition of several panoramic images and a few nighttime photos originally taken on video.
