Acerca del libro
Vast effort has gone into making digital photographic prints archival—to improving print quality while extending viewing lifespan to over a hundred years. But what if fine art photographs were made to fade in 6-18 months? How would that affect the creation, promotion, display, selling, sharing, collecting, and viewing of art? The exhibition and this catalog explore that idea.

Whether it is the remapping of three-dimensional landscapes into two-dimensional images or capturing events that last only milleseconds, Lerman strives to reveal the strange and provocative beauty that is hidden all around us. His photographs have been exhibited by The Center for Fine Art Photography, CO; PhotoPlace Gallery, VT; Griffin Museum of Photography, MA; Kadoya Gallery, MO; Photo Independent, CA; The Big Picture, CO; and Duncan Miller Gallery’s Your Daily Photograph.
