California FIber Artists is a partnership of independent artists who have joined together to showcase the creativiy, diversity and beauty of the art being created today with fiber. This is the 2013 Portfolio illustrating the work of the current 36 members of California FIber Artists. The portfolio was designed, created and curated by Nicki Bair, a member of California Fiber Artists.

I weave with both words and weft; combining fiber with my creative musings, whether it is a poem, a children’s story, a mystery novel or simply a pithy phrase. My tapestries and weavings feature bold curves, elusive text, touches of nature and multiple layers of meaning. I enjoy creating lasting memories of art exhibits by creating memorable and colorful catalogs of the event for all to share.
