Acerca del libro
In 1981 I wrote this book with the help of many people, in particular, Henry Heydenryk, Jr. who was my teacher, friend and mentor on this groundbreaking and seminal work. It has gone into 7 printings over the last 30 years and now I am happy to say we have produced it as a pdf version , hard cover, and soft cover from Blurb.com. It can be ordered online and used as a reference book when selecting frames for your clients, or print a hardcover and give it to your clients as a present. I am happy to have added to the history of American frame designs so that people everywhere can learn to appreciate and enjoy the unique character of the American sentiment of strength and simplicity. The designs are distinctive from their European ancestors and provide us with a glimpse
of the past preferences from both urban and rural regions of the country. It was the Catalogue for an exhibition held at The Octagon, in Washington, DC July to September, 1983. An excellent, and rare, reference work on American Frames. BW Illustrated wraps. 50 pp., Many illustrations.
