Anita Vasquez has literature spanning from 1985 through the present. She has publications in seven Quill Books, American Poetry Society, Sparrow Grass Poetry Forum, Inc., the Cedar Rapids Gazette and the Ravalli Republic. She wrote the book Sparkling Reflections in the Bitterroot Valley, including its photography. It can be found at the Bitterroot Valley Historical Society and on the internet. She has published photography in the Urban Wildlife Sanctuary Newsletter and Cornell Laboratory of Ornithology's Birdscope. Her hummingbird studies were published in 2008. Her book, Sparkling Reflections of the Bitterroot Valley, had a write up in the Bitterroot Valley Historical Society newsletter.

All photography in this book is by the author, with the exception of the one on pp 52. It blends with the writing in the three parts: 1) Poems, Photos, and Facts; 2) The Other Side and 3) Outdoor Scenes.
