Acerca del libro
In 2007 the city's biggest costume party hit the streets for the 34th year. The theme was "Wings of Desire," but costumes of every kind were on display at Greenwich Village's proudly outlandish Halloween parade.
About 2 million spectators (one-fourth of the city’s total population), 4 million television viewers, and 60,000 participants were estimated.
''Nobody west or south of the Statue of Liberty has any idea what this parade is about. 'The sheer outrageousness of it, the absolute spontaneity - this is nothing like the way they do Halloween in other parts of the country. Ths is New York's own thing.''
(The New York Times)
