Acerca del libro
Curiosity took us to Vietnam. In January 2007 we arrived late one night in Hanoi and began traveling down the coast. We were taken aback by the beauty and the variety. The hubbub of Saigon, the remains of an empire seated in Hoi An, the lush countryside, the pirate hideout in Ha Long Bay with its large stone teeth jutting out of the sea. We were captivated at every turn.
From Vietnam, we left for Angkor Wat and its surrounding temples in Cambodia. It was a different world we descended into. Incredible stone temples covered with intricate carvings surrounded us. Much had fallen into disrepair, but the hand of the original artists still vibrated through.
We returned home over Bangkok. The Reclining Buddha of Wat Po remains one of the most amazing sights in the world.
This book collects the most memorable images of our travels. Enjoy!
