Acerca del libro
Highland Park is located in the City of Rochester, Monroe County, NY and was Rochester's first park. Established in 1888, it started with just 20 acres designed by Frederick Law Olmsted, who also designed Central Park in New York City. Today, the park includes more than 155 acres and is best known for it's 1,200 plus lilac bushes. It is the site of the annual Lilac Festival, a free ten day event that attracts thousands of local and traveling visitors each day.
But there is more to Highland Park than lilacs. Azaleas, evergreens, magnolias and spring bulbs are just a few of Park's other jewels. These 40 pages of images reflect the tranquility and beautify of the park during all four seasons.
