This is a book celebrating the photography of my husband, Julian.



It is based around a concept he explored in his PhD – that of "being" rather than caught up in the diversion of endless action.



I could see that this concept played out in his photos which are very much about "just being there" and trying to capture something of the look and feel of a place or an experience.
