At the eastern end of the South Downs National Park, UK, the landscape is dotted with gorse, hawthorn, clumps of beech and sycamore and a multitude of tracks and trails criss-crossing the hills and valleys in all directions.

The photographs in FRAMEWORK 1 go some way to illustrate the emerging winter/spring downland landscape above Eastbourne, East Sussex, UK.

All photographs were made on Kodak Gold 200 ISO Colour Negative Film.
