In this course each student worked on one individual long term assignment and other basic types of assignments a photographer faces.
Discussion on the evolution of documentary photography
through the analysis of the work of established masters
and emerging photographers, lectures on philosophy and
ethics of documentary photography contributed to find one’s own voice.
CREA is the cultural organisation of the University of Amsterdam (UvA) and the Amsterdam School of Higher Education (HvA). CREA organises and
supports a wide range of cultural activities.

Marzia Cosenza
Nederland
Marzia Cosenza (Rome 1971) after her high school degree in Optician began studying photography at the Council's vocational training school in Rome, and in 1991 started working for a local Roman newspaper. In 1996 she obtained a diploma in advertising photography at the ISF&CI in Rome. Since 2003 Marzia is based in Amsterdam, working on personal projects, collaborating with newspapers, magazines and advertising agencies. Since September 2008 she give photography lesson at CREA.
