The objective of this paper is to guide the readers on a journey that begins with the elemental composition of Ti2AlNb alloy and then provides an overview of its microstructure, manufacturing processes, and mechanical properties. Firstly, the comprehensive mechanical properties of the alloy are influenced by its elemental composition, where the addition of different elements has varying effects on the alloy's mechanical behavior. Secondly, the microstructure is closely related to the macroscopic mechanical response of the alloy, and this paper reviews the relationship between processing techniques and the resulting microstructural morphology. Next, the paper summarizes the main methods and various processing approaches currently employed in manufacturing this alloy, highlighting their distinctive features. Lastly, the paper analyzes the relationship between different microstructural morphologies and the mechanical properties of the alloy.
