Acerca del libro
The picture book by author and illustrator Mara Jordan is deeply inspired by her experiences as a volunteer wildlife carer in Australia. Lulu was indeed a real possum who got lost like ten-thousands of other wild animals each year. Mara hopes that her story will encourage children to respect and care for precious native wildlife. She believes that children who form early an emotional connection with animals and nature are more likely to protect it in the future.
The last pages of the book also contain some amazing facts about Australian ringtail possums and photos of the real Lulu!
