Acerca del libro
A fascinating and in-depth look at the 2nd year of The Style Council, the band formed by Paul Weller in 1983. In 1984 alongside Mick Talbot, Steve White and Dee C Lee they released 3 hit singles, a hit album and managed to break into the USA Billboard chart. This book details all events, releases and tours, 51 concerts across the UK, Europe, USA and Japan. Full of facts, statistics and some excellent photos it continues on the theme introduced in the previous release - that it was written on the first day of the following year with no knowledge of future band events. The book continues it’s unique interactive element where it is possible to view footage of the event you are reading about. Using an iconic Simon Halfon cover photo from Paris, 1984 is printed in Premium Colour, has the quality of a high end tour programme and is the perfect accompaniment to sit alongside your Style Council record collection. Written by Iain Munn who has covered The Style Council for over 30 years, and worked on releases for Universal and many others. “1983” was the first in the series.

Wholepoint Publications
United Kingdom
Wholepoint Publications is the home of the only 'biography' on The Style Council which first appeared in 1996. “Mr Cool’s Dream” was the only book dedicated to The Style Council from 1996 - 2020. In that time 3 updated editions appeared, and although not an official band product, it had the support of Paul Weller, Mick Talbot, Steve White and Dee C Lee. The 1983 - 1989 book series (4 are planned) has never been attempted before and forms part of the 25th anniversary celebrations leading up to the next edition of “Mr Cool's Dream.” It instantly became a collectors item, though each year is available and can be read as a stand alone.
