Acerca del libro
Painting Loose Landscapes in Watercolour teaches a way of watercolour painting that allows the individual not to fear their mistakes but to learn from them and focus on the essence of a painting: the light, the atmosphere and not to worry about every leaf and blade of grass that gets so many stuck and frustrated.
For years I put off painting because I didn’t think I’d have the patience. When I discovered a more loose way of painting with total abandon, almost carefree if you like, I suddenly realised there was another gateway into the art world that teaches pure enjoyment of the medium without fear of stresses and failures or getting bogged down with needless details.
So grab your brushes and give it a go. My approach will give you a sense of freedom you’ve never felt with a brush in your hand. It’s not as difficult as you think and with a little practise you’ll soon be painting loose landscapes without fear”.

Hello and welcome to my new bookshop. I used to sell on Amazon and other online book stores but rising costs meant selling direct from the publisher here on Blurb became the better option and obvious platform choice. Here you’ll find the books cheaper than I could sell them elsewhere. There’s also the option of purchasing the PDF digital version of any book which is viewable on any device. This provides a cheaper alternative to the printed version. I have always been fascinated by light in the landscape and try to capture it in my paintings. My books are the product of my watercolour painting endeavours and offer an insight into my way of thinking as a watercolourist. You can preview the first few pages of any of my books. I hope you enjoy your perusal around my bookshop. Remember, painting can become very addictive and makes for a wonderful hobby! Best wishes and happy painting. Steven
