Acerca del libro
Twenty-five black and white photos of curbs in New York City and Chicago, Spring 1978.
Shot as a college project, never printed other than for a grade, and rediscovered as a 2020 pandemic project while scanning family pictures and slides.
The grand size and scope of Aztec pyramids, graffiti, an Art Institute painting, and the need for a college grade all influenced the title and low angle street photography.
These images represent a portion of the whole collection.
September 2021, “Chicago 216H”, One of four winners. London Photo Festival, London, England
Oct, 2021, “NYC 242”, Nominated for the One Shot Award as part of the BBA Gallery Photography Prize 2021, Kühlhaus, Berlin

Acerca del creador
After rediscovering my unpublished negatives of NYC & Chicago Curbs from 1982 and a Philadelphia area hardware store fire from the 1970's, and after some interest through exhibits, I created these photo books. Each highlights the best of the two collections.
