Acerca del libro
An emotional rollercoaster of moody black and white images captured at (Fort Warren) Georges Island, Massachusetts. The author has mirrored many emotions brought on by the 2020 pandemic through images of historic structures in decay.
The folio is not about the history or drama of Fort Warren and Georges Island, but the emotions generated by the remaining structures and passages. After months of isolation and social distancing experienced during the COVID-19 pandemic, the pictures reveal a deeper and darker context than was originally expected. While many of the images elicit feelings of isolation and creepy vacancy, there are also photos with a message of hope.
