When she is not traveling and hiking worldwide, Lois divides her time on beautiful Salt Spring Island, BC and the equally beautiful, but lesser known hamlet of Lee Creek which is located in the North Shuswap (BC).

A Landscape Photographer, Lois's movements are generally determined by her passion for nature and the abundant beauty, peace, wisdom, and solitude that it offers. Her camera acts not only as a tool of documentation, but also serves to connect conscious thought, intuition/vision, and the stimulation of her "third eye".

Her deep commitment to the teachings and practise of yoga (Lois is a certified yoga instructor), in addition to her identification with Buddhist philosophy, are also reflected in her writing and her images.
