Jeani Elbaum creates imagery based on sociological themes often pertaining to womanhood, family, and interpersonal relationships. She works in a variety of photographic media, including black and white, color and alternative processes. She has exhibited her work in various galleries in the Atlanta area and recently received the Juror’s Award in the exhibition Pan terminus, which was juried by Julian Cox, Curator of Photography at the High Museum of Art. She is an undergraduate student at Ernest G. Welch School of Art and Design at Georgia State University and will graduate in 2008 with a BFA in Photography and a BA in Art History.
