About the Artist

Born in San Salvador, El Salvador, came to the United States when very young and lived in Washington State most of her life. Currently resides in Oro Valley (just outside Tucson) Arizona.

I have loved to draw all my life, I took drawing classes in the mid 1970s under the auspices of Frank D’Polito in Tacoma, Washington. I took a hiatus from the arts until recently. I feel blessed to be able to develop my passion for drawing and painting. I have taken classes at The Drawing Studio in Tucson, Arizona and currently I am fortunate to be studying under the tutelage of the internationally renown pastel and oil painting artist Stephanie Birdsall.

I particularly like drawing and painting animals because I love animals and enjoy the details that give life to my subjects. As the painting evolves, I invariably fall in love with my subjects.

Pet Portraits are available in color, either color pencil or pastel.
Also available in graphite .

I require a couple of photographs of your pet. One close up. It is important to provide quality photographs that so that the representation of your pet is accurate.
