Lucia Grossberger Morales was born in Bolivia during the Revolution. Her family fled for their safety. But, as if the ancestors were calling she has returned to Bolivia many times. In 1979 she got a personal computer, the Apple II. After a short career creating software packages, including the Designer’s Toolkit published by Apple, she focused on developing multimedia works and games that reflected her Latin American Heritage. She developed her first game for change in 1992, Cholera, which has been widely reviewed. In addition to creating games, Lucia is working with a group of artists and architects at mARTadero: Vivero de los Artes in Cochabamba Bolivia developing program in digital arts. Her work has been shown in galleries and museums around the world. Much of her work can be seen on her website cyber-chica.com.
