Mateo Torres is a Rio Grande Valley native that was introduced to the creative side of life at a young age. Through childhood and into adulthood, the urge to create and be creative has stayed consistent. Mateo has kept that consistency through music, writing, painting, drawing, photography, videography, directing, as well as through the tonsorial arts.
His opportunistic mindset has led him on multiple journeys and pathways that can label him as a nomad or wanderer, but he never forgot the way back home. His time has been spent living in several parts of Texas and across the nation and globe during national and international touring stints. During this time is where each place became a story to tell and hold close.
Mateo resides in his hometown of Harlingen, Tx in the Rio Grande Valley, where he continues to create music, art, and calls a home base with his Pomeranian, and the rest of his family, when he's not on the road or traveling abroad.
