I limit the use of editing to preserve the art of photography. There is a time and a place for digital editing, but to me changing anything more than a tweek of the contrast or making a color print a black and white is much like having a parent correct and finish a child's homework. Once this happens its no longer a valid display of the child's skill, just as advanced editing fixes everything you missed when taking the shot; a false exhibit of talent. |
