Originally published in 2010, to share her family’s taste of Sicily that came to America, Pamela Cali Bankston released "La Famiglia" Sicilian American Cookbook,” which has become a treasure in her hometown area of Louisiana. Since then, Pam has authored “The Frizzy Frieda Series,” a collection of middle grade fiction novels , where an unpopular girl learns to “Be herself and find her own way to shine.” In 2017, she began a weekly column with “The Daily Star Newspaper,” titled “#OhmyHammond,” which runs on Saturdays. Certified as a pediatric nurse, Pam Is currently still practicing as an R.N., along with working on Frieda’s next adventure, her column, and teaching the next generation how to cook!
