Lisa Richardson is a native of Beaumont, Texas, where she has been involved in many facets of the graphic design business, including pioneering the first “Desktop Publishing” firm there in the 1980s.

Aside from the business world, her true passion has always been found in the natural world. It began at an early age when she followed her grandfather through the woods of East Texas, learning and sharing his love and respect for nature.

Through photography she has found a way to combine her passion for nature and her art. Lisa’s first real interest in photography began in college and was re-kindled in 2006 during a trip to Santa Fe, New Mexico. Since then, she has returned to the region many times to photograph the high desert landscape.

In her images, she enjoys capturing a sense of quiet spiritual peace found in the open vistas and mountains of the Southwestern United States.
