I am a visual artists working primarily in large format analog photography, I also use digital. I work with audio and sometimes video to create site-specific installations.
My artistic practice explores human nature, daily routines, people their stories and their environment – how much of whom we are is determined by the communities in which we live. I like to find a non-linear view of things and often focus on details.
I have just completed an artist’s residency at The Scottish Centre for Crime and Justice Research (SCCR), Glasgow University where I explored key boundaries between innocent and guilty, researcher and researched, ‘us and them’, showing how the researchers’ use of criminological space resists and reproduces social hierarchies.
I have been published extensively and exhibited nationally and internationally and I am represented by Millennium Images in London.
