With the immense support of my husband, Desi Arnaz Jr., I founded non-profit Boulder City Ballet Company in 1998. We love to work with children and because of that we dedicate most of our theatrical endeavors to them. We own the Historic Boulder Theatre in Boulder City NV and it is home to BCBC. Our daughter, Haley, is one of our choreographers, so our work (if you want to call it work!) is a family effort. We love our community, love our many kitties and our scruffy dog, Jelly.
Besides presenting ballet productions in our theatre, we have also presented An Evening with Lucille Ball, Tormé Sings Tormé, A Tribute to Dean Martin, Chautauqua, The Dam Short Film Festival and many more wonderful shows. But since our main love is working with children, we LOVE to present shows for them! I have written several original ballets for my students and have turned two of them into books -- The Magic Tutu and Juliana Cuddles. Clara's Nutcracker is my 3rd book and many more are coming.
