Acerca del libro
This is the tale of Zoe Nettles and her sister, Samantha. It chronicles their journey to the Gossamer Isle and their quest to save the kingdom of the faeries, and by extension, the world of man.
This is the final draft of the book I wrote for my daughter approximately six years ago. I began writing it before fairies were all the rage, but by the time I was done, the book racks were full of titles about little people with wings. Now that vampires have taken center stage, maybe somebody can appreciate a good fairy tale again. Either way, it is an accomplishment of which I am proud, and it remains one of my daughter's favorite books. She may not be the most objective judge, but she has read it several times (when she's not reading something about vampires).

I have always enjoyed writing and drawing (and a little sculpting) as a means of escaping from reality for a little while. When my children were born, I decided to attempt writing my first books. My grandmother wrote several short stories for me when I was little, and reading those stories remain among my fondest memories of childhood. The subject matter and the content of my first books honor the themes of my grandmothers stories and incorporate characters and ideas developed from our own life experiences. Yes, they are works of pure fantasy, but they reflect a little of who we are. I hope you enjoy them.
