Desert, deserted: two words, two meanings.
The first is a sun-baked, wind-blasted barren landscape with rocks, sand, canyons, mesas, pinnacles, and hoodoos.
The second are the remains of a past; rusty carcasses of transportation, broken windows that frame the untamable.

Dutch photographer Arny Raedts (1965) sold his first photo to a magazine in 1986. A badly exposed snapshot of a punk concert. Since then his work got better, much better. At least that was the opinion of the editors of international music magazines like Rolling Stone, Elmore, Westzeit and Oor in wich his photo's were published. In 2001 he started his own firm ArnyZona Photography. His work was featured in numerous photo and travel magazines like Focus, Zoom, Columbus and can be seen on book and cd covers.
