Acerca del libro
This is a world record holding anthology (as of 05/11/2024); holding the world record for the longest time in which one writes a short story (greater than 500 words) every single day. As you could probably deduce, I attempted – and managed – to hold that streak for fifty days.
I went about this project by initially generating a list of one-hundred single-word conceptual prompts, which I later reduced down to fifty. And every day following that, usually in the mornings before I went about the rest of my day, I found art for, planned out, wrote, edited, read aloud and posted a short story. I posted each day’s instalment to Medium and my personal website, as well as my YouTube (@OfficialMaxPhillips).
Since the majority of these single-word prompts could be attributed to “facets of the human condition” – I decided to approach each prompt like I was exploring the human emotion surrounding at least one part of each concept, meriting the name “The 50 Conditions” Anthology.
