Acerca del libro
"The George Lucas Talk Show" has been a cult comedy show at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre and a livestream series on Planet Scum, and now they have made a BOOK!
"Retired filmmaker George Lucas" (dead-eyed character actor CONNOR RATLIFF) and his talk show sidekick, Watto (The Tick's GRIFFIN NEWMAN) have spent years interviewing real guests under the watchful eye of producer PATRICK COTNOIR and they are now proud to present GLTS SPECIAL EDITIONS: works of beloved public domain literature augmented by unprecedented BONUS FEATURES.
Charles Dickens' critically acclaimed classic, BLEAK HOUSE, is the inaugural title in this series. Praised by best-selling author Stephen King as a work of "perfection," Bleak House is widely considered to be a masterpiece.
The GLTS Special Edition contains:
• The first 32 chapters of Bleak House by Charles Dickens
• A new introduction by "Retired filmmaker George Lucas"*
• Foreward by actor Stephen Tobolowsky (Groundhog Day, Radioland Murders)
• "Warm-Up" by Watto The Toydarian*
• Mid-book Check-In by Patrick Cotnoir
• Light annotation by Crawly
• Afterword by George RR Martin*
• Dozens of spot illustrations by an array of Georgie Porgies (GLTS fans)
[*Hey, just to be CLEAR in case anyone stumbles upon this and thinks "WHAT IS THIS?" and isn't able to make sense of the context clues above, The George Lucas Talk Show is a comedy show where actors Connor Ratliff and Griffin Newman pretend to be "George Lucas" and "Watto." The foreward by Stephen Tobolowsky is really by veteran character actor Stephen Tobolowsky, but the other stuff, like the "Afterward by George RR Martin" is just a funny comedy bit. So, I hope nobody buys this thinking "oh WOW, the real George Lucas and George RR Martin wrote supplemental material for an edition of one half of Bleak House! And the real WATTO also contributed something!"
Patrick Cotnoir, however, is 100 percent REAL.]
