Acerca del libro
Minidoka, Fabric of the Land, is an extended photo essay that examines the remnants of a World War II Japanese American concentration camp. Documentary photographer, Timothy Floyd, finds remnants of the camp's barracks and dining halls scattered throughout southern Idaho, repurposed as homes, barns and sheds. The distant memory of the camp, and the nation's embarrassment about the transgression against civil liberties, are metaphorically represented by images rendered unsharp by use of a pinhole camera.
