Acerca del libro
In this work of photography and poetry, artist and writer, Kelly Showker, reflects on the 2020 coronavirus pandemic in a series of ten stages of poems accompanied by personal and performative portraits, depicting emotional states in response to the coronavirus pandemic, quarantine, and the political events of the first half of 2020.
Ugly, unflinching, and raw — the artist’s images and words speak to the moods produced during the universal time of isolation caused by the COVID-19 outbreak.
This book is sold at the cost of production, to avoid making a profit from pain in the wake of the coronavirus, a pandemic which has undoubtedly affected so many of us.
The book features photography by Peter J. Nolan and performances by Kelly Showker.
