Sarah Palmer was born in 1977 in San Francisco, CA, and currently lives in Brooklyn, NY. She received her MFA in Photography, Video and Related Media from School of Visual Arts in 2008 and her BA in English/Italian from Vassar College in 1999, where she received distinction on her thesis. She was awarded an Aaron Siskind Foundation Grant/Scholarship in 2007 and has exhibited at Photo Espana and the New York Photo Festival among other galleries and events. She has been visiting artist at various institutions and has been published in The Big Picture magazine, Metropolis, Visual Arts Journal, and The Collectors Guide to Emerging Art Photography, among others.
