The artist seeks in nature’s illumination to find the light within, to evoke the beauty, dignity and unity that hint of the sublime and the transcendent. Images and impressions are distilled, not only from the artist’s native state of New York, but also from Asia and Europe.

These naturalistic scenes emphasize the heightened emotional effects of light and distance. The paintings have ranged in size from seven inches to seventeen feet and have been displayed in galleries, shows, museums and private residences throughout the country.

Born and educated in New York City, Elizabeth began her art career at eleven years of age when her drawings were exhibited on Eastern European television. After earning a Master’s degree from Fordham University, NY, she continued her interest in painting.

Often compared to the Luminist painters, In September of 2006 her work was accepted into the 110th Annual Open Exhibition at the National Arts Club, Gramercy Park, NYC.
