I spent a varied and interesting career in international shipping and logistics, during which time I travelled a great deal. My wife Celia and I also visited many interesting countries on holiday, especially in the Far East.
I retired early from corporate life at the age of 50 and had a second career as a self-employed consultant, my final assignment being Town Initiatives Manager for the market town of Alton in Hampshire, probably the most rewarding of my career. I also became a radio presenter in my spare time.
I have now retired to Spain, where I live in the town of Orba, on the side of a valley filled with orange groves, in the north of the Costa Blanca.
