A published journalist since 1999, Leslie I. Benson has interviewed and successfully promoted everyone from Debbie Harry of Blondie to author Neil Gaiman in print and online. She is a lifelong writer of poetry, lyrics, music, and journalistic work ranging subjects from arts and entertainment to travel to business and science. She is the co-founder and singer-songwriter for recording artists The Sweetest Condition and Irene & Reed. Her artistic interests include poetry, songwriting, photography, branding (marketing/public relations), website design, and social networking in the viral media world. She speaks conversational German and has been known to adopt furry friends from ferret rescue shelters.
