Tim Champney is a former President of the Tidewater Camera Club and a long-standing Easton, Maryland resident. He is currently affiliated with Northern Virginia Photographic Society. Through his coursework in photography at Maryland Hall in Annapolis, and the Smithsonian Institution, Tim has become engaged in a search for synthesis in form and narrative. His interest in photography has evolved into a life-time passion encompassing digital and film media and color, as well as black and white. Tim’s work has previously been shown in galleries in Easton, MD and elsewhere. Tim now spends much of his time in Washington, DC with spouse Martha Clarke. We recently journeyed to Beijing, Pingxiang, and Shanghai, China to attend Martha’s son’s wedding. We also toured Belgium, Switzerland and Germany, and Hong Kong, Shenzhen and Guangzhou, China to spend time with family and capture images. We strive to bring together elements of East and West.
