Valerie Tucker works primarily in oils and water media. She received a Fine Arts degree from the University of California at Santa Barbara, and also studied printmaking at Pratt Fine Arts Center in Seattle. Her award-winning paintings have appeared in numerous shows nationwide and in 2009 her work was included in Art Buzz, a juried hardcover publication showcasing contemporary visual artists.
