Michael B Wood was born and raised on the shores of Long Island Sound in Connecticut. His earliest memory is the vision of the mobile above his crib. Perhaps this is what sparked the growth of a man of few words, but immense visual language.

He took up photography as a hobby then decided to study it at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design where he won many accolades for his work. He has since spent over 35 years photographing, filming and doing all things related to media production. With cameras in hand, he has travelled to over 30 countries, and his images have been appreciated by audiences around the world.
