Moved to the US from Sweden in 1965 and built my nest in Fairbanks Alaska, after my mandatory military service there. I married Mary, we raised three boys there and operated a construction company, Dessert Gems comes in a big part from my Swedish mothers massive collections that she used during the many social events she hosted, and that we taped in to during our own entertaining.
