Spent my childhood on the Canadian border in Upstate New York. Went to college at Quinnipiac University in Connecticut for journalism and history. Lived in Ireland, Idaho and in the Adirondack Mountains, amongst other places. Currently residing in Western North Carolina, exploring and writing about all things wild and unique.

Writing, traveling, meeting strangers, live music, microbrews, wandering in the woods and going to Burning Man consume my life, leaving a permanent smile on my face.
