I was the fourth woman pilot hired by NW Orient Airlines in 1981. I started flying on the Boeing 727 as a Flight Engineer. I flew on the 727, DC10, and 747. I medically retired in 2007 as captain on the Boeing 747. I live on a wheat ranch in eastern Oregon where I spend my days writing, taking pictures, and enjoying life. I still love to travel and speak to kids around the U.S. about pursuing their dreams.
