Brenda Cook was born Brenda Storrs in Lewiston, Idaho in 1966. She moved with her family to Wisconsin in 1977 and then on to Florida in 1981. She graduated from high school in Florida, and then moved with her family for one final move to California in 1984 at the age of 18. Brenda currently resides in California with her husband, an entrepreneur, and children Allison and Austin. Brenda left the corporate world after 25 years to spend more time with her family and work in the family business. Running has become a driving force behind Brenda and finding the cure for cancer is the passion behind the wheel.
