I'm not sure what makes me get up in the early morning hours, to photograph my favorite Island places at the break of dawn. Perhaps it's the way the morning light hits the grasses as they lean away from the wind on a sandy dune, or it's the way the Island flora mixes texture and colour in perfect harmony. Only mother nature could mix a garden like that. Sometimes I just enjoy the quiet solitude I have in those early hours before everyone else is up.

I guess I photograph the Island because I love this place and I consider it a privilege to share it with the wildlife in those quiet morning hours. I enjoy sharing my photos with you. Please come back often to see what new little piece of PEI I've found.
