shell was was disabled by illness some years ago. She could barely speak, and could no longer walk. Her husband refused to let her quit. He bought her a camera, put her into the car, and challenged her to show him what she saw.

99% of all of her photography is taken from a sitting position. Her photography and love for beauty, literally brought her back to life.

shell is also a wife, mother of many (7), author, musician, published songwriter, painter, an artist of many mediums and most importantly one madly in love with God.
