Seth Stewart attended Oberlin College in Ohio. He spent a brief period with Laboratory Theatre in New York City, then obtained master’s degrees in film and writing from the California Institute of the Arts. He now resides in Montrose, California with his tortoiseshell cat, Mavis; his frog, Hardy; and too many spiders for the average person.

Seth's written work has been published in several literary journals and academic publications. "Wayward Pilgrims," his film collaboration with Taylor Greeson, was screened at MoMA in 2009. In 2011, he and artist/designer Patrick Hruby co-created an entire archipelago, a project that culminated in a short story/illustrative exhibition at Culturefix gallery in NYC.

He is currently working on "Callithump," a forthcoming book of short stories, as well as his first full-length novel, "women in parking lots." When Seth isn’t writing, he’s diluting the weight of his apologies and knowing less and less every day.
